The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad’s MBA program has a strong placement record, with a number of notable achievements in recent years: 

  • 2022–2023: The placement percentage for the MBA program was 95.65%, with 67 out of 69 students placed. The highest annual package offered was INR 83 lakh, and the average package was INR 17.01 lakh. The top recruiting sectors were software/IT (26%) and core industries (24%). 

  • Overall placement record: IIT Dhanbad has an excellent placement record, with over 1,000 students placed across various programs in 2022–2023. More than 300 companies participated in the recruitment process.

Here are some details about the fee structure for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad: 

  • Tuition feeThe total tuition fee for the MBA program is INR 3,67,100, which is payable in four semesters.  
  • Application feeThe application fee for the MBA program is INR 3,200 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 1,600 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.  
  • Admission feeThere is a one-time admission fee of INR 12,900.  
  • Other feesThere may also be one-time charges for hostel admission, a benevolent fund, and an identity card.  
  • Refund policyFees are non-refundable once paid. However, if the department cancels the notification and decides to refund the fee, the amount will be returned excluding the processing fee.

    4. Industrial Experience (10 percent)
