IMT Nagpur offers 180 seats for its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. The PGDM is a two-year, full-time, residential program that’s equivalent to an MBA. IMT Nagpur accepts CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT scores for admission to the PGDM program.

IMT Nagpur Eligiblity And Selection Criteria For 2024-2026

IMT Nagpur offers PGDM as its flagship program along with PGDM-Marketing and PGDM-Finance. Selection to these programs is based on entrance exams such as CAT / XAT / CMAT & GMAT. IMT Nagpur CAT cutoff is 85 percentiile and IMT Nagpur CMAT cutoff is 90 percentile. If the candidate has a percentile in the range of 85-90, the chances of receiving calls are positive. However, he/she must have a good academic record to weigh in through the final merit list. The final selection considers 35% weights for entrance tests and 25% weights for the academic score. Furthermore, relevant work experience shall be an added advantage.

IMT Nagpur offers admission into General PGDM, PGDM (Marketing) and PGDM (Finance). Finance and Marketing programs are offered in dual specialization mode.

  • Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks.
  • Also, they must have a valid score in either of these exams CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT.
  • Final year students can also apply for profile-based admission, provided they get to produce their original documents by the mentioned date for verification purposes.

  • Shortlisting is based on CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT score.
  • The shortlisted candidates have to further appear for Group Exercise & Personal Interview which depends upon the following parameters:

Key Points: 

  • A merit list shall be drawn only after the interview round is over. 
  • Candidates must carry their original documents for verification when they report to IMT Nagpur for the PI round. 
  • For candidates applying on the basis of GMAT with pending scores, the processing of the application will be provisional. Candidates are required to submit their documents before a given deadline. 
  • Selected candidates will be intimated regarding their status and details of further procedures of admission over email/SMS and also at their login ID.
  • They must complete their fee payment within the schedule, in order to confirm their admission. 
  • There is a relaxation of 5% in CAT/XAT/GMAT percentages for Kashmiri migrants and Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (non-migrants) domiciled in the Kashmir Valley).
