IMT Hyderabad offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Program for Executives (PGDM Executive), and FPM. The programs have an equivalency of the MBA issued by AIU and the institute is accredited by AICTE and SAQS and NBA. The institute also offers certain certificates and sponsored research programs. As per the data collected, it is observed that not only Commerce or Management students enroll in PGDM program of IMT Hyderabad. In fact, more than 30% of enrolled students are from Engineering backgrounds. While most of the applicants are freshers, few of them also have work experience which is considered as an additional advantage during the selection process.

IMT Hyderabad PGDM Selection Criteria
- Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT/ XAT/ CMAT test scores.
- Shortlisted candidates are required to share a 1-minute video introducing themselves and their background, career goals, etc.
- Candidates also need to submit a 300 word SOP and Profile Details form.
- Short-listed students need to appear for a Personal Interview Online with 23 panelists.
- In the online interview, candidates are assessed on communication / social skills, analytical/ problem-solving skills, business affairs, and general skills.
- Work experience is also seen as an important selection criterion in the PGDM degree program.
- Final selection is based on the results of previous admission tests and academic performance.
