CAT 2023 notification will be released by July end but the exam conducting IIM will be announced much before. Looking at the past years’ trend, IIM Lucknow can be given the responsibility to conduct the CAT 2023 exam this year. 

The Common Admission Test or CAT is conducted by one of the older IIMs. The responsibility of conducting the CAT 2023 exam will be to one of the top IIMs on rotation basis. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore conduct the exam. Last years CAT 2021 was conducted by IIM Ahmedabad, CAT 2022 was conducted by IIM Bangalore. The institute conducted the CAT after a gap of five years. Prior to that, CAT exam was conducted by IIM Indore in 2020. Going by the trend of past few years, IIM Lucknow can be given the responsibility to conduct CAT 2023.
