The MMS (Masters in Management Studies) admission process at SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) generally follows the guidelines set by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, as MMS is a program affiliated with Mumbai University.

Here’s an overview of the admission process:

1. Eligibility Criteria:
  • Academic Qualification:
    • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Entrance Exam:
    • Candidates must have a valid score in any of the following entrance exams:
      • MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)
      • CAT (Common Admission Test)
      • CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
      • MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
      • XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
2. Entrance Exam and Application Process:
  • Appear for the above-mentioned entrance exams. The primary exam for MMS in Maharashtra is the MAH CET conducted by DTE.
  • After the results of these exams, students must apply for the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
3. Centralized Admission Process (CAP):
  • Online Registration: Candidates need to register for CAP through the DTE Maharashtra website.
  • Document Verification: After registering, candidates must get their documents verified at designated centers.
  • Merit List: A merit list is generated based on the entrance exam score.
  • Choice Filling: Candidates will have to select their preferred institutes (like SIESCOMS) during the choice-filling round.
  • Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on merit, preferences, and seat availability.
  • Reporting to Institute: Once a seat is allotted at SIESCOMS, candidates must report to the institute and confirm their admission.
4. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI):
  • Some colleges, including SIESCOMS, may conduct additional rounds of GD and PI as part of the selection process(PGDM)
5. Final Admission:
  • Admission is confirmed once all rounds are cleared, fees are paid, and documents are submitted.
