Section-wise Difficulty Analysis:

1. VARC Section:

The VARC section, housing 24 questions, exhibited a moderate difficulty level. Notably, it was deemed easier than the previous year. Question Breakdown:

  • Verbal Ability: 8 questions (Moderate to Difficult)

2. DILR Section:

DILR, comprising 20 questions distributed across four sets, maintained a consistent difficulty level compared to CAT 2022. • Set 2 (Visa Applications): Moderate
  • Set 3 (12 Houses): Moderate to Difficult
  • Set 4 (Restaurant Ratings): Moderate

The dominance of arithmetic and the inclusion of six TITA questions added complexity to the section.

Question Breakdown:

  • Number System: Easy
  • Algebra: Moderate to Difficult
  • Arithmetic: Easy to Moderate
  • Modern Math: Easy
  • Geometry & Mensuration: Moderate

  1. Hi Everyone, I have a valid objection from VARC of slot 1. I request you all to show your support so that we can request Rav sir to raise objection on our behalf.
When accepted by IIM Lucknow, this will ADD 3 MARKS⭐ to all the slot 1 candidates.
I am sharing the details below.

    Slot 1 VARC
    Question ID 48916816030
According to the question, 4 out of 5 given sentences together will form a coherent paragraph. We have to select the odd one out and type it in as the answer.
However, An article published by bbc.com consists of a very similar paragraph that contains all the 5 points.(Photograph attached below)

This proves that all 5 sentences given in the question can be put together to form a coherent paragraph.

It means, there is NO ODD ONE OUT!
Thus, all the given options are INCORRECT!❌

Please raise objection for this question. It recieved support from 26+ people in the WhatsApp group as well.

  3. Dear sir,

    Please consider SLOT 1: VARC

    QId. 48916816167

There answer key says the answer is Ans.Id. 48916840340

But sir, we believe the correct Ans.Id. would be 48916840339.

As the second and third lines of second paragraph compare the divergence between two groups on the basis of environmental factors (between people of arctic and lowlands) and the argument is carried forward in the australian example hence 1st option should be the best choice.

In This Question if student goes to solve with trick cancelling numbers on both sides they will get exact answers.. But when we approach the question with traditional method and due to heavy decimal numbers calculations multiple times…it is not possible to get exact answer as 20808₹….It can be in the range + or – 2-3 Rupees… And it happened With Almost 80%peoples….Otherwise for heavy decimal numbers calculations cat never gives TITA Question and should not be given also.. When we refer to other standard exams.. Same rule is followed. Either it is given ad MCQ or TITA with Answer type – Range. (Not Equal to)
