Stage 1: Evaluation and Shortlisting

In this stage, applicants are evaluated based on various parameters to derive a composite score for shortlisting. The parameters and their respective weightages are as follows:

  • Performance in CAT: 70%
  • Gender Diversity: 10%
  • Work Experience: 7%
  • Performance in Class XII (or equivalent): 5%
  • Performance in Graduation Degree: 5%
  • Possession of Postgraduate Degree: 3%

Calculation of Composite Score in Stage 1

  1. Performance in CAT:
  • Marks scored = 70 * (Candidate’s marks in CAT / Total marks in CAT)
  1. Work Experience:
  • Marks awarded based on work experience using a specified scheme.
  1. Performance in Class XII (or equivalent):
  • Marks calculated based on a formula considering the percentage of marks scored and a predetermined parameter ‘a’.
  1. Performance in Graduation Degree:
  • Marks calculated based on a specified scheme considering the percentage of marks obtained in graduation.

Tie-Breaking Rules in Stage 1

In case of a tie in the composite score, tie-breaking is done based on:

  • Higher CAT score
  • Higher composite score in Performance in Graduation Degree
  • Higher composite score in Performance in Class XII (or equivalent)

Stage 2: Final Selection

Shortlisted candidates from Stage 1 proceed to Stage 2, which involves a personal interview. The final selection is based on the following parameters:

  • Performance in CAT: 40%
  • Performance in Personal Interview: 40%
  • Work Experience: 10%
  • Performance in Graduation Degree: 10%

Calculation of Composite Score in Stage 2

  1. Performance in CAT:
  • Marks scored = 40 * (Candidate’s marks in CAT / Total marks in CAT)
  1. Performance in Personal Interview:
  • Marks based on performance in the personal interview, accounting for 40% of the composite score.
  1. Work Experience:
  • Marks awarded based on work experience using a specified scheme.
  1. Performance in Graduation Degree:
  • Marks calculated based on a specified scheme considering the percentage of marks obtained in graduation.

Tie-Breaking Rules in Stage 2

In case of a tie in the final composite score, tie-breaking is done based on:

  • Higher CAT score
  • Higher composite score in Performance in Graduation Degree
  • Higher composite score in Work Experience
